Earl is Coming.

It's looking like we're gonna get a close pass from Hurricane Earl later this week.

Friday, throughout the day and into the evening, could get pretty wet & windy.

In the meantime, it's looking like today is gonna be another unseasonably hot one. Forecast to be in the 90s again.

    So does that mean you're gonna get to know if your drainage is working?

    How does drainage work on wind?

    The drainage got a decent test last week when it rained so hard. Frustratingly, I wasn't able to be here that day, and I expected it to be all trashed by the runoff. But I returned home to discover that it had all worked just fine.

    Friday could be another level of testing though.

    And wind, well that's another matter.

    Aww heck. Don't know about the lake but I got all of 3 minutes of downpour. If Earl weren't such a powerful hurricane, I'd ask to see his credentials.
